is a BEGINNING CLASS! You
can make a basic lace triangular scarf or shawl - it's your choice!

Materials:
Yarn:
Fingering to DK weight yarn
Yards: 700 to 1000
Gauge: varies on pattern chosen
Needles: Two
sizes larger than stockinette stitch in 24 to 29 inch circular
Size US4 to US5 for Fingering weight (approximate).
Size US6 to US8 for DK weight (approximate)
Skill
Level: Beginner Comments: Ability
to recognize stitches such as Knit, Purl and Yarn-Over
Please bring a magnet board to hold a graph Homework
Select the yarn and use suggested needle size
Cast on 20 stitches and prepare a swatch in stockinette stitch (approximately 3
to 4 inches).
Do not Bind-Off or break yarn
Please bring assorted needle sizes for determining correct gauge
