MARKET BAG - KNITTED

WHAT A GREAT ALTERNATIVE TO THOSE NASTY PLASTIC SHOPPING BAGS!

Linda Lucente has stumbled upon a great way to replace those environmental eyesores - the plastic shopping bag.

A couple of these can hold gobs of grocery items safely and securely in this ruggedly designed tote.

All you have to do is come to this class and learn how to knit them!

Class Title:       Market Bag - Knitted

Materials:

        Yarn:        Cotton, linen, or a blend

        Yards:      Approximately 250 yards DK or Worsted Wt (your choice)

        Gauge:      N/A

Needles:          Size 4 - 16" circular and double points/and size 11 - 24" for DK wt yarn

                       Size 5 - 16" circular and double points/and size 13 - 24" for worsted wt yarn 

Skill Level:     Advanced Beginner

Comments:     This is a great project!   If you haven't worked in the round before, this is a great one

                                  in which to learn.  Make them in many sizes and colors and give them for gifts.
