FEBRUARY 4th & FEBRUARY 18TH from
10:30-12:30pm
Fee:
$40 for 2 sessions.
Yarn:
Description: Fingering weight sock yarn
Composition: your choice of cottons, wools or blends thereof.
Yards: Typically, 220 yards will be enough for 1 sock:
- two 50 gram balls (approx. 220 yds)
...or...
- one 100 gram ball (approx. 440 yds.)
Needles:
Type: 1 Set of Double Points
Size: US1 to US3
Length: 5 inch or 7.5 inch
Pattern:
Basic Sock Pattern by Linda Lucente.
Cuff-to-Toe progression; knitted on 4 DP needles; basic heel turn;
Kitchener Stitch or German style toe.
Special
Instructions:
BEFORE CLASS: Knit a 3 inch x 3 inch swatch using the same
needles that you plan to use to knit your socks.
